What’s happening 11th January 2013

Our first meeting of the year will be at 7.00PM on the 11^th January at the Kinsale Community School.
Three things will be going on:

1. MineCraft Mods – Jim’s going to show you how to write your own mods for this very popular game.
2. GameMaker – we’ll be introducing you to GameMaker over the next few weeks. This is great step up for those who feel they’ve done enough with Scratch.
3. Scratch – For those wanting to learn more and continue writing your games.

If you want to start with GameMaker please make sure that you’ve installed GameMaker on your PC. You can download it from:  http://www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/windows or http://www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/mac . We will be using version 8.1 Lite – this is a free download. Note: We’re not using GameMaker Studio.
